Tokyo became number one in population by surpassing New York City which was the world’s most populated city in 1955, just 10 years after Japan lost WWII in 1945. The Metro-Tokyo area has been the most populated megacity since 1955. So today, I’d like to share with you a different kind of success story, not of a person but of a city.
