In the next area you'll find some more collectibles, some death whistle carvings and some Braided Ropes, which you can't open just yet until you get a reinforced knife. Mash the button indicated on the screen and then you'll get out. Then, you'll have to climb up a crevice in the water, with part of it collapsing onto you. Be sure to use it so you don't drown!
